Welcome to Dunlooken Farm Online! Our 2011 season is over and it's time to get ready for 2012! Check out our newest venture from the menu: E-PickTM and our Roadside Stand.
This site will inform you all about the Nohr-Mattson Farm in Glencoe Minnesota. We are always VERY busy with many things and want to share it with you! In 2006, we started a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). It was a lot of work and fun. We are starting to plan for 2012. Contact us if you are interested! You too can own a share in our garden and receive veggies once a week during the growing season. At right is a picture of a Whole Hog box in week 14. Read more about it on our 2011 CSA page.
Currently, we have 9 horses of our own, and provide riding lessons for all ages, and will train horses, or teach you to train your own. We also have the knowledge and know-how to raise orphan foals! We have been raising Dairy Goats for over 25 years! We raise them for the milk, and to show. We've been exhibitors at the MN State Fair since the mid '80s. Come see us! (The goats are at the fair Labor Day weekend.)
We raise many breeds of chickens, some of which are very rare in the U.S. Our chickens are free range and have been giving lots of eggs, but we've also had lots of predator problems as well. But not since we got our two Great Pyrenees puppies! If you have any questions please feel free to Contact Us! We love to chat, and share stories.
